The story

Two sisters. Two seasons.
One unbreakable bond, about to break.

Two sisters. One bound to the sun, one to the moon. Born at opposite ends of the year and raised to believe their magic could only exist in balance.

When one of them is lost to the dark, the other will cross every line she swore never to cross to get her back, even if it means trusting someone who might be the most dangerous of all.

A taste of chapter one

The longest night

The candles went out one by one, the way they always did on the longest night, and my sister did not come home. I waited at the window until the frost crept up the glass and wrote her name in a language I had never learned. The village said the dark took girls who listened too closely. I knew better. The dark never took my sister anywhere. She walked out to meet it, barefoot in the snow, humming the song our mother used to sing, and she did not look back once.
